MyState Bank Cricket Cash
Cricket fans wouldn't care about a bank sponsoring their team, but everyone loves money. So we combined cash with cricket, and printed Cricket Cash. A 4 dollar note celebrating the team’s 4-scoring machine, Tim Paine, and a 6 dollar note idolising their 6-hitting hero, Ben Dunk.
Fans were driven to home matches to spend Cricket Cash, helping pull the largest crowd in Tassie history.
It’s not every day you get to print your own money! Notes were produced on polymer substrate sheets, just like real currency. For an added security feature, a holographic foil was printed using optically variable ink.
